spxzz.ini - 10/28/2009, Four Percent Buy Signal.. SP500 has dropped > 4% from it's recent high several times this year and all but one were good buying oppertunities. We'll get one today if SP500 closes below 1054. Here's a ZigZag to tell you when the SP has reached bottom, in hindsight of course. At the bottom of the printout are listed prices at each 4% drop.

naud.ini - 11/01/2009, Here is the cumulative Naz Adv-Dec volume ($NAUD on stockcharts.com) traded using the 50 day moving average. It's not a good stand alone system but you can see by looking at the chart it has been a good warning sign for possible big drops ahead. It sold on 10/27.

pcrix.ini - 11/04/2009, Here's one for trading Pimco Commodity fund at JeffNat. Pimco is the last family of funds that has held the line on 8 day MinHold. They pulled their small cap fund rather than raise the hold days.

fyasig.ini (update) - 11/09/2009, Here's an update on a signal for trading FYAIX and other junky funds. Could Buy as early as Tuesday.

ndx5x.ini (updated) - 11/17/2009, Update on NDX Rsi5 oversold Signal. This one can only Buy when NDX is above its 96 day Ema. With this condition you can get away with a 10d Min Hold. JeffNat traders can Buy an Alger fund. Others Buy an NDX fund. 30/31 trades in the last 8 yrs were winners. CAR while invested is 159%.

cyclefds.ini (updated) - 11/22/2009, Here's a list 1d+8d+31d + one 61d JN fund sorted by Ann/Mdd from 3/9/09. Of course you can mess around with the Sort and fund list all you want. Don was really surprised how well RYOCX (qqqq) has done in the last 8.5 months.

bbs4.ini - 12/11/2009, Here's a version that looks like it will Buy Monday, just in time for Xmas. It trades a MIX of two ETF funds available from Rydex. Hold'em 10 days minimum.

cci5.ini (update) - 12/13/2009, Here's another 21 year curvefit of Terry's CCI and Don's SP2Ema in sync. You can only trade when SP2Ema is on Buy. He's showing it trading a 12+ yr old ETF fund of funds. CAR while invested is 50.7%. 82.8% of trades were winners. Works ok on SP Mid Cap funds since 2001 too. CCI5 has only been invested 26.6% of the time since 1997.. Don made CCI in sync with SP2Ema.ini and increased Sma to 5. Seven trades a year and CAR while invested 33%+. 2008 was only down year in last 21.

q4.ini (fixed) - 12/20/2009, Here's a version of Q4 that is buying on Monday. CAR while invested is 247.3% for last 21+ years. Invested 8% of the time.

ryutx.ini - 12/21/2009, Natural gas produced from shale gas wells is a big thing right now since offshore and Alaska oil drilling is restricted. Utility companies have a big interest in natural gas or methane.

mdpix.ini (revised) - 12/24/2009, Don added Buy/Sell with SP2Ema.sig in addition to the other conditions. This works better as delay=0.

cbift3.ini (revised) - 12/27/2009, Mike Burk's weekly reminded Don that a low level of nasdaq new lows makes a good NoSell filter. He added NoSell as long as Ema19 of NSNL is below 30. Eliminates 3 whipsaws including 2009 and adds about 1% to Ann with no change to Mdd. Close to 90% of the trades in the last 18 years were winners.

mfs-bnd.ini - 12/27/2009, Mutual Fund Strategist US Bond Fund Model Sells tomorrow. It has a pretty good 10yr verified record for reducing Mdd.

pdhys.ini (updated) - 12/29/2009, PDHYX is a Direxion fund so it can be traded daily but the cutoff time is 2 hrs prior to market close. It does OK on some ETFs too. Here's the file that generates the d=1 Signal.

bbs5.ini (revised) - 01/04/2010, This revision: Stretch = 7 mdays and HoldMin = 9 cdays, CAR while invested = 81.1%. Can't Buy when SP500 is below its 410d Ema which included 2008 and most of 2009. CAR while invested was 79% for the last 9 years. OK for big and mid caps but I prefer CLSAX which holds 33% international and emerge ETFs.

rut2ema.ini - 01/06/2010, After many runs in CSP with a 5 year lookback Don concluded that RUT was ;the best proxy index to trade RUT, MID and NDX index funds with a simple 2 Ema crossover Signal. Delay = 0 and a 1-2 day MinHold worked best. Emas 16 and 21 worked best for all 3 indexes.

mlhyeq.ini - 01/10/2010, Here's a combo of a High Yld fund and an Equity fund(s) using a High Yld Signal. Signal is based on MLHY2 which must be updated manually. ML web address is shown at the top of the Fnu. ML symbol is H0A0. Two years of back data is maintained at the site. All funds shown are 1 day or 8 day Hold funds at JeffNat. PHIYX is the only 8 day High Yld left so please don't over trade it or they might make it a 31 day fund.

sweet15.ini - 01/17/2010, Sweet15 is based on Jerry Minton's work. Don made MIX pretty consevative to keep Mdd in single digits. CAR is 37% while invested less than 1/3 of the time.

mc2x.ini (updated and fixed) - 01/25/2010, After further review, Don thinks oafcx is not a good replacement in MC2X.ini. He is using SP-MC instead which he knows will never be eliminated. And this, with Xmas.ini on Sell on 12/31/09.

vixobx.ini (tweaked) - 01/25/2010, This is Terry's VIXOB strategy backtested for 20 years. 23/23 winners. Avg trade made 4.13% on NDX. Sells tomorrow if VIX drops 4.1 points. You need to run sp2ema.ini once before running. SP2Ema must be on Buy before VixOBx can Buy.

cadi.iini (revised) - 01/26/2010, Mike Burk has long advised that until Naz new lows expand, the market is OK. Don added a NoSell indicator to CBIFT3 in December that has worked since 1992 based on Mike's observation. It's been added to CADI as well.

mfs-hy.ini (updated) - 01/26/2010, Mutual Fund Stratigest has been in business since 1982 and managing a Junk Fund stratigy since 1992. Real time CAR is about 11% including 1% fee. Mdd is about 3%. Here is an update of their real time TimerTrac junk signals since 2001. Don added a NoSell and an OrSell stoploss Rsi14 on FHIIX that have not been needed yet.
